The Destruction of Atlantis

For generations the Atlantians lived simple lives. But gradually they began to change. Greed and power began to make them corrupt. When Zeus saw how immoral the Atlantians had become, he gathered the other gods to decide how to punish them.

Soon, in one big violent wave Atlantis was gone. This cataclysmic event may have included earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tidal waves. The island of Atlantis, its people, and its memory were swallowed by the sea.
