William Shakespeare lived many years ago. He was born, lived and died in England (1564-1616). He was a very famous writer who wrote many plays, sonnets and poems. He is the most read of all authors. In English speaking countries his "Works of Shakespeare" is very popular. The only book read more is the Bible.
