Stonehenge (out of London) It is Britain’s greatest national symbol of mystery and power. Nobody knows why it was built. Some people say that it was a temple for a goddesses or a place to bury high rank citizens. Some others call it an astronomical observatory for marking certain events on the prehistoric calendar. The Tower of London One of the oldest buildings in London with a great history. A lot of kings lived and died there such as James I (17th century), the so-called Little Princes, the unfortunate Anne Boleyn whose husband king Henry VIII ordered to kill her. You can see in close-up the Crown Jewels (14th century) which are still used by the Queen and the Royal family.

Buckingham Palace Enjoy the royal ceremony from outside the palace which takes place inside the palace railings at 11.30. It lasts 40 minutes. The Queen’s Guard accompanied by a band, leaves Wellington Barracks at 11.27 and marches via Birdcage Walk to the Palace. |

The Cutty Sark It’s a ship, the fastest ship of her type, made in 1869 to bring back the season’s first tea crop. It is in Greenwich, a wonderful site. You can find a lot of information inside, where there is a collection of carved ships, figureheads and displays telling you her story.
