The GIMP is the open source GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition, image authoring and animating.
It has many capabilities. It can be used as a simple paint program, an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image renderer, an image format converter, etc.


Installation instructions:
Download the gimp.zip package file and unzip it with some unzip software like WinRAR.
Then first run gtk2.4.7_setup.exe file and follow setup instruction.
When installation is finished run gimp_setup.exe file and follow setup instruction.
To run Gimp find a shortcut in Start menu or desktop (depends on your choosen installation settings).

To install aditional modules like animation module run animation_module.exe file and follow setup instruction and to install GIMP HELP run help_setup.exe file.
